The 2023 DeMarini Prism+ is the newly introduced version of the Prism series.

DeMarini has made a few changes in 2023 and this bat has the potential to be the best fastpitch bat in 2023 but its durability would be preventing it from becoming one.

Prism+ 2023 is a lightweight and balanced weight bat. The handle feels comfortable and solid in the hands.

The lightweight handle provides you maximum power, so you can swing as hard as you can and hit the sweet spot on the barrel.

Moreover, this fastpitch bat has some unique features based on modern technology.

DeMarini has been producing quality bats for years, and Prism+ 2023 will be tough to ignore this season.

How is the Performance?

The 2021 Prims+ was a success and everyone loved that bat.

This leads us to the 2023 DeMarini Prism+ which has similar features to 2021 except for the looks.

The type V Connection suits the barrel connection with the ball and gives a comfortable flexible swing to the hitter.

Prism+ is definitely among the top fastpitch bats of all time and the quality of the bat makes it a favorite for smaller hitters.

In addition, a huge sweet spot is not very common in fastpitch bats which makes this bat even better.

How good is its Construction?

2023 Prism+ is a two-piece composite bat that provides great pop.

The Gapped Wall technology is used to provide smooth contact while swinging.

This feature makes the bat very effective and easy to hit the ball hard. If you want a similar bat but with stiffer feel then the DeMarini Whisper can be a great option.

The weight of the bat is balanced which is the best thing about Prism+.

Moreover, they have changed the colorway of the bat as compared to the previous 2021 Prism.

A new colorway of the bat looks cool and good for young players out there.

Is it Durable Enough?

DeMarini has been known for its performance and durability.

The durability of the bat is is under a question mark which makes it a last option for anyone who wants to use a bat for a long time.

The barrel is made up of Gapped fiber technology for great pop and makes a great sound after hitting the ball.

Is this bat Value for the money?

If you are looking for a smooth, quality, and lightweight fastpitch bat then this is a perfect choice.

Moreover, the type V Connection minimizes vibration even on mishits and provides maximum power to the hitter.

All these features and new colorway makes it even better to go in this modern stylish era.

We did not like  the initial response from customers so far and I don't know if it will get better as the season goes on. It can not be considered as a Value for your money.

Moreover, the new lighter Type V connection will be an absolute joy for any hitter to get the advantage of from the bat.

Who is recommended to use this Fastpitch bat?

Any contact hitter who loves to use full power to hit the ball hard.

This will improve their game and strengthen their muscles as the bat has a thinner barrel and a huge sweet will be ideal for mishits.

DeMarini Prism Plus 2023 vs 2023 DeMarini CF

DeMarini Prism was made for hitters who are looking for a high performance barrel.

While the CF fastpitch was made for the hitters who are looking for a faster swinging barrel that generate more trampoline effect while hitting.

But the 2023 Prism Plus has some durability issues while on the other hand CF is performing great so far.

Similar Bats to Compare

Initially, the 2023 DeMarini Prism+ was performing good enough for the type of hitters it is intended to please.

But later, it started having some serious durability trouble that can't be avoided by any means.

We received complaints regarding the paint chipping and even cracking/breaking in the initial days of usage.

This year we would  not recommend buying the 2023 DeMarini Prism+.
