Rawlings has released a cutting-edge addition to its BBCOR lineup this season, the new 2024 Rawlings Mach AI baseball bat.
The AI integration in the bat aims at enhancing player’s performance by combining precision, speed, and power.
Some already started calling it the "Voodoo one killer", but in our tests we found something else.
The swing weight is quite similar to the Voodoo one but for the sweet spot and power it slightly lags behind.

2024 MACH AI Performance & Analysis
The new 2024 Rawlings Mach AI is a one-piece alloy baseball BBCOR bat with a composite end cap.
As this Mach AI is a metal bat, so it is more on the stiffer side and is also not quite forgiving. So, the baseball players struggle with barrelling it up, and hence end up being inconsistent in performance.
Also, the thin handle makes it even more difficult to comfortably perform in the game. Adding a suitable grip might help resolve the issue a bit.
However, one advantage of the alloy composition of the Mach AI BBCOR bat is that it comes hot out of the box.
The similar bats in the market are the Demarini Voodoo One and Louisville Slugger Atlas baseball BBCOR bat. The Mach AI has a similar swing weight and pop to the Voodoo One, however, the sweet spot of the Voodoo One is also not impressive.
On the other hand, the sweet spot as well as the pop is great for the Slugger Atlas. Although the Atlas performs the best out of the three, the performance of the Mach AI cannot be undermined.

If you want a baseball bat with comparatively a lightweight swing and more control, go for the Mach AI.
On the other hand, if you want a pretty end-loaded swing for maximum power, the 2024 Clout AI is your bat.
