2024 Easton MAV 1 Performance & Analysis
Easton’s new MAV series is expected to outperform all its previous iterations in the BBCOR lineup.
The efficient vibration-dampening system ensures you feel no discomfort in your bottom hand. The lightweight and balanced swing adds to the comfortable hitting experience with this Easton MAV 1 bat.
However, one downside of the Easton MAV 1 is that its sweet spot is not as good as that of the other popular one-piece alloy bats such as Rawlings Clout AI.
Due to a little sweet spot, inexperienced baseball players will mishit quite often and will struggle to deliver a consistent performance in the field.
The in-hand feel of the 2024 Easton MAV 1 bat during the game is similar to that of the Rawlings Clout, though.
So, the Louisville Slugger Atlas and Rawlings Clout AI have similar in-hand-feel to the Easton MAV 1 BBCOR single-piece alloy bat.
Although Atlas performs way better than the Easton MAV bat, it is also a lot more costly which makes MAV 1 value for money if you can compromise with the performance.

The new 2024 Easton MAV 1 comes with many differences from the previous 2023 Easton Alpha ALX single-piece alloy BBCOR bat.
There is an upgrade in the alloy material of the MAV 1 bat. Also, the new bat does not feature a soft knob.
Although the feedback of both these bats is quite similar, the MAV 1 swings way lighter than the Alpha ALX.
Which one's better and why?
The new 2024 Easton MAV 1 delivers a more comfortable performance than the previous Easton Alpha ALX BBCOR bat.
