2024 Demarini Voodoo hybrid Performance & Analysis
The new 2024 Demarini hybrid BBCOR Voodoo baseball bat is a slightly loaded bat that is easy to swing by most players. The bat provides the longevity of the alloy barrel with the in-hand feel of the two-piece hybrid bat.
Although the barrel is not as massive, it is highly flexible. Due to flex in the handle, energy transfer is also lost which softens up the impact of the ball and ultimately gives a better feel by reducing vibrations.
However, this bend affects the exit velocity, and the ball does not go as far. The exit velocity of the one-piece Voodoo is better than the 2-piece hybrid as it does not have a connection piece.
Also, since the barrel of Voodoo Hybrid is alloy, it comes game-ready from the wrapper and you don’t need to break it in before hitting shots in the field.
The 2024 Easton Split BBCOR baseball bat is a better performing bat at a much lower cost than the Demarini BBCOR bat.
However, some players do not like the thick handle of the Easton Split BBCOR bat, so they like to swing the Demarini Voodoo hybrid 2024 which has a comfortable yet stiff grip.

What's Changed?
The 2024 Demarini Voodoo BBCOR baseball bat is essentially similar to its previous 2022 model. There is no upgrade in features or performance of the bat in the field.
However, the graphic design and paint job is entirely changed from the 2022 Voodoo hybrid.
And of course, a mandatory price update with every newer model is also there!
Which one's better and why?
As there is no significant upgrade in the new 2024 Demarini Voodoo from the previous model, nothing excites the players much about the new bat.
If you find the 2022 Voodoo in stock, you should go for that. You might save a few bucks by compromising the latest paint.
