The barrel is genuinely enormous and the sweet spot is real. We’ve put time on the Meta and the forgiveness holds up — mishits that would sting on a hybrid or alloy feel controlled here. The three-piece 3FX-PWR connection does its job: independent barrel movement absorbs shock, your hands feel almost nothing on off-center contact. Players who’ve put serious time on this bat come back with the same report: pop is real, the barrel is forgiving, and the soft feel on solid contact is hard to find elsewhere in USSSA.

Break-in is minimal. The EKO composite opens up quickly — a week of regular batting practice and this bat is running at full performance. Once it’s open, it’s a bomb-hitting machine for the youth contact hitter who barrels up consistently.

One honest note on drop weights: the -10 is the right pick for most contact-oriented youth hitters. The -8 swings noticeably heavier and fits stronger, older players transitioning weight.
