Many people, from Buck O’Neil to Dizzy Dean, have stated that Oscar Charleston was the greatest all-around ballplayer in the history of the Negro Leagues. This bat was used by Charleston when he was a member of the 1924 Harrisburg Giants. As player-manager he hit .411 that year.
